Pablo Reyes is a co-founder and director of the Center for Latin-American Strategic Studies (CEELAT) in Bogotá, Colombia. He is also a principal at North Star Green, a multi-disciplinary consulting firm committed to improving social and environmental performance in Latin America; a senior analyst at Onamics LLC focusing on political risk assessments in emerging markets; anda member of the board of directors at the Latin American and Caribbean Council on Renewable Energy (LAC-CORE). Previously he held an analyst position with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) both with the Scholl Chair in International Business and the Americas Program, at (SAIC)as a national security analyst, and at Rudder-Finn Global Public Affairs providing expertise to clients (the governments of Croatia & Kosovo) in the Balkans during the 1996 negotiation of the Dayton Accords. Reyes received his bachelor’s degree in Socio-cultural Psychology and International Relations from Clark University, and his master’s in International Economic Policy from the School of International Service at American University in Washington, DC.
Pablo Reyes focuses his work on Latin America’s foreign and security policy; energy cooperation; green project development, and corporate social responsibility. Currently he is working on a number of projects and initiatives that incorporate green strategies to meet social, security and environmental challenges.
